A HUGE THANK YOU!
Thank you to all those who helped make our Annual Christmas Carols a great success. Both nights saw many people come and have fun while sharing the true reason for the season, Jesus!
BAPTIST WORLD AID STALL
Today and next Sunday we’ll have a stall with a difference; pigs, sheep, chickens all on sale… but before you plan on tipping over tables!.. it’s for people in need, living in other countries through the work of Baptist World Aid (BWA). You buy a gift card to give to someone, while BWA do the work of training people to look after the livestock. There are also toilets, maternal health, education, clean water and lots of other gifts. For those who missed out on purchasing a chicken gift card at the carols BWA have sent more and they will be available in the hall after both services. EFTPOS is available.
Today there will be a special offering held during both services. All money given will be used to buy Christmas presents and sent to the children in both the schools and IDP camp near where Lindsay is staying in Myitkyina. Please continue praying for Lindsay Dale as he has 3 more weeks in Myanmar spending time in a teachers training college hoping to find ways to bring improved techniques to the teachers.

Mark this date in your calendar for next year. Further details to come.
BREAD RUN OVER HOLIDAYS
The bread run will continue to operate over the school holidays at the regular time of 7.00-7.30pm on Friday nights. If you would like some free bread or rolls for yourself or maybe for a neighbour, then please come along to the church and help yourself. Thank you to those on the bread run roster that make this ministry possible each week.
Kruger Mission will again be participating in Angel Tree this Christmas. Angel Tree is designed to reach the innocent victims of crime who are often forgotten…children of prisoners. Being separated from a parent at Christmas time is a painful experience. Angel Tree touches those children with the love of Christ at Christmas by providing them with special Christmas gifts. Kruger Mission will be donating 24 presents to this worthwhile ministry. The true gift of Angel Tree is the strengthening of the family bond while the family is apart.
WEEKLY PRAYER FOCUS
Prayer is a vital part of both our Christian walk and our church’s well being. Each week we will be encouraging the church to pray for a different ministry in our church and the needs of our community. This week’s focus is on our Friday Night Ministries.
Pray that the Friday Night Ministry leaders have a relaxing, safe break and return refreshed next year.
Pray that the new prep-children who have just started Kid’s Club and children who have moved from Kid’s Club to Hype; Hype to Junior Youth and Junior Youth to Senior Youth will want to come back next year.
Pray for new leaders to be willing to step up and become part of the several Friday Night teams in 2018.
Pray that each child that attends on a Friday Night and their families will be kept safe and remember the real story of Christmas.
Other prayer points:
Praise Jesus for Suze Poletti’s improvement in her health. Continue to pray for Suze’s full, though long recovery. Pray also for her husband, Dave and her family; that they feel comforted and encouraged during this time.
