A huge thank you to all those who turned up for our working bee yesterday and helped spruce up our church and grounds ready for the Christmas period.

There is a sign-up board in the hall today listing the various jobs needing to be done like setting up or selling different products. Help is needed on both nights of the carols Friday 1st & Sunday 3rd December from 5.30pm. Don’t forget to sign your name where you can help. Flyers are also ready for delivering, so grab a bundle. The more hands the better!

A meeting for the Welcome Team members will be held today after the morning service. If you are interested in joining the team please contact Lex Adam.

year) will be going to QB’s first ever State
Youth Camp. It will held January 18th-20th.
Baptist youth groups all around QLD will be
joining together for an amazing weekend of
fun as well as spiritual growth. There will be
a giant swing, archery, rock climbing, a pool
with slides and big group games. They’ll also
be time for worship, prayer, electives and
hanging out with your own crew! The cost is
$110. Child permission forms are due back
to Chloe Adamovics or Seb Henley by 3rd of
December. For further details please contact
Pastor Seb.

It’s time to plan the Holiday Kids’ Church
roster. If you can be available throughout
the December-January school holidays to
help supervise the 3 year olds to Year 2
children only through the sermon time,
please let Judy Burridge know ASAP. No
preparation is needed. Blue cards do need
to be arranged if you don’t have one.

A prayer night will be held here on Sunday
26th of November starting at 7.15pm to
pray for the carols and our Christmas
programs. All welcome. $5 dinner available
at 6:30pm.

If people are in need of prayer they can call
Mary Steiner, who heads up the prayer
chain. She will then pass their prayer
request onto the prayer chain warriors who
will then pray for them in confidence. We
are looking for more people to be a part of
our prayer chain. This is a vital ministry so if
you want to become a part it, please
contact Mary.

Last chance to check the table in the hall for
any of your lost items. Any items that
remain by tomorrow will be donated to

Prayer is a vital part of both our Christian
walk and our church’s well being. Each
week we will be encouraging the church to
pray for a different ministry in our church
and the needs of our community. This
week’s focus will be those who look after
our Bread Run Ministry.
 Pray for the bakery that donates
their bread each week; that they
may be blessed for their generosity.
 Pray for Pastor Matt as he coordinates
the Bread Run team.
 Pray for all those on the team who
volunteer their time each Friday to
pick up the bread and then drop it off
 Pray that more will participate in this
ministry and be willing to go on the
Bread Run roster.
 Pray that people have opportunities
to give the bread to their family,
friends and neighbours to show
God’s love and provision for them.
 Pray that connections will be made
with workers at the bakery and with
those in the community who receive
the bread.
Other prayer points:
Pray that there will be love and grace
shown on both sides, following the yes
vote announcement this week. Pray also
that the leaders will have wisdom as they
move forward from here.
