A prayer night will be held here tonight at 7.15pm to pray for the Christmas carols and our Christmas services. All welcome to this important prayer meeting as we move into this time of year where we can reach out to our community. $5 dinner available at 6:30pm.

Junior Youth Church (kids in years 6-9 this year) are invited to Qld Baptist’s first ever State Youth Camp. It will held January 18th-20th. Youth groups from all over QLD will be joining together for an amazing weekend of fun and spiritual growth. There will be a giant swing, archery, rock climbing, a pool and big group games. They’ll also be time for worship, prayer, electives and hanging out with our own crew! The cost is $110. Child permission forms are due back to Chloe Adamovics or Pastor Seb by 3rd of December.

Please be praying for Lindsay Dale as he leaves on a one month trip to Myanmar this week. Lindsay will be spending time in a teachers training college hoping to find ways to bring improved techniques to the teachers there.

Prayer is a vital part of both our Christian walk and our church’s well being. Each week we will be encouraging the church to pray for a different ministry in our church and the needs of our community. This week’s focus is on our Christmas Carols event next weekend.
 Pray for the Carols team as they go through the final rehearsal tomorrow night.
 Pray that all those involved will stay well and be able to fully participate.
 Pray for that the families of our Kids Club and Hype and Playgroup children will come along and enjoy the program.
 Pray that all the technical side of the production goes off without any problems.
 Pray that the people from our community will come along to hear the real story of Christmas.
 Pray for good weather so that we can enjoy the pre-carols activities and fellowship outside.
Other prayer points:
Pray for Lindsay Dale as he prepares to leave for Myanmar this week.
Pray for that those who were successfully voted into office in the State Government elections held yesterday will act with wisdom and integrity in their role as our representatives in their electorates.
