At Kruger Baptist Church, we are here to help. We have a range of opportunities to help those in our local community and in communities around the world. Kruger Kitchen
Kruger Kitchen provides healthy, nourishing meals for those experiencing homelessness or those who are vulnerable within communities across Ipswich. We have a team of volunteers who cook and serve meals twice a week and we always need more helpers. All ingredients and recipes are provided, cooking is carried out in the church kitchen from 2-4pm Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We serve the meals from 4-6pm on Tuesdays at Browns Park, Nth Ipswich and Wednesdays at Queens Park, Ipswich.
Pancake Team
The Kruger Pancake Team is comprised of volunteers who come together to offer free breakfast pancakes to students, teachers and parents in our local schools.We believe that by showing up every week and supporting our local families we will see great social benefits across our community. We are always in need of keen volunteers, please contact the church office for more information.
Kruger Community Meal
Fridays – 5-6pm Our Kruger Community Meal is more than just a meal – it is an opportunity for connection, and a sense of belonging for all who attend. It’s a practical expression of God’s love and care for our local community, and everyone is invited to come, share a meal, and experience the kindness and generosity of the church family. Whether you’re facing financial challenges or just looking for a friendly space, we’d love to see you there!
Free Bread Run
Free bread is available from the church on Friday evenings from 7:00pm. Everyone is welcome to stop in and take what they need. If you’ve got children or teenagers, why not check out our Friday night programs for kids too!
School Chaplaincy
